Hey, some low life POS stole my damn car from school today. In the Baton Rouge LA area please be on the lookout. Contacted the local cops but that probably wont go anywhere. If you see an SS hood with some deep scratches ion it for sale let me know please but I imagine she's gone for good with my luck. But anyway it's a 98 SS hardtop with the hood scratched from a tree limb that I didn't get fixed yet, leather small tear in pass. seat,LM1, grey ZR1 wheels, small dent in drivers rear quarter panel, and as said deep scratches in hood on scoop.Hope I find her. Thanks yall, I'm from Denham Springs. The car was black with ebony leather. My only guess's on how they got are the school has outside tow trucks, which were not running today, tow illegaly parked cars so no one would really suspect if you **** was gettin towed, or they had keys made by someone ever trashier than themselves and just opened her up and away they go. There was no glass broke,nothing. What a bummer.

I feel your pain. My '98 was stolen in March of 2004 from my apartment (Old London Towne ). It was found in August of 2004 in New Orleans. I was told there was not much left to it. I'll keep a look out.

 

yep, im with you buddy, my 02 SS LE was stolen out of my driveway in Slidell on January 6, 2008. They didnt start it or break any windows. They must've used a repo lift or something. I hope you find her but i think she's gone for good.

For anyone else, I have a 1998 Camaro SS for sale. Has some scratches in the hood and a dent, but other than that it's really nice. Asking $9k.

I'll keep an eye out, but I hate to say the car's probably long gone. I'm from the LP also, but my car stays in the garage unless I'm out cruising. Hearing of all these cars getting stolen keeps me paranoid

 

Sorry to hear about the car. I'm not in LA, but I've been scared about the same thing when I would drive my car to college. As many tow trucks as there are running around colleges, no one would be suspicious if someone pulled up and towed it away.

I would ask around and see if anyone saw what kind of tow truck came and got it. Then at least you know what/who youre looking for. Put up fliers at the bulletin boards at school asking for any information. Maybe someone that was in the parking lots saw something.

wow yall guys are getting hit so hard in the LA area...its like every time i see a thread like this i expect the poster to be from lousisiana..have yall talked to the authorities and let them know how many fbodies are being stolen and most likely stripped..maybe they could set up a bait car somewhere and watch it and see if they can get someone...im in law enforcement and its not hard to get a perp to flip for lesser charges...yall need some help down there
