Another pretty cool field trip there: Lynchburg's only about an hour from Cullman. Now they sell Jack there at the still (not on Sundays).

Cheesecake Factory has a lot of good food. Plus when you're done you can choose between about 30 different kinds of cheescake. Their menu is 10+pages and takes a while to make a decision.
Dreamland is pretty good too if you like ribs and bar-b-cue. I still haven't found a good bar-b-cue place here in Bham, like were on every corner down in Phenix City though.

I still haven't found up here in Bham a pork chop sandwich like at 13th street bar-b-cue. I always ordered a "pork chop, hot (sauce), no (slaw), to go". Those are heaven
If anyone goes to the Phenix Dragstrip and passes the 13th st bbq on hwy 80 and it's open, I highly recommend stopping in and trying their bbq.

The funny thing is that my boss was just telling me about watching the Jack Daniels distillery story on the History Channel. It never even occurred to me to try to tour it while I was there. Washington has a GRIP of microbrews and I like them much more than the taste of anything mainstream. Bud or Miller is like drinking nat's **** now. Locally it's Mac & Jack, Red Hook, or Pyramid, but there are a few smaller ones that will knock you out with one glass.
