hey sheik, got that lid installed. for now i just made up a couple joints for that hose. later on ill just put a filter on it. can already feel the difference! anyone descreened their MAF? if so did it make much of a difference?

 

Damnit I was sooo wasted this past weekend. You guys missed it Friday night, a huge fight broke out at Pockets and some dude started dumping 40. shells lol. It was kinda crazy, I got the hell out of there haha. But then I again I was drinking there with you guys the next night :/

 

The Varsity meet is probably one of the sweetest meets in GA. That's where most of the big HP cars meet up most of the time. You'll even meet a few dudes with crazy cars that stay in Columbus that you'll never see in the streets. I try to go as often as I can. And the import to domestic ratio is pretty even. Last month there were about a dozen f bodies, a few z06s, a million terminators, and a bunch of other cars.

Just make sure you get there super early or you won't find a place to park. And the meets usually end really early, around 10 or so. Then everyone goes off to street race. But most likely you won't get a chance to be a part of that lol.

 

There is mixed opinions on descreening the maf. Most say not to do it as the screen in it smooths out airflow.

yeah we definately need to find somewhere else to hit up on the weekends....and i'm down to eat up some termi's too! the arm drops in Warner Robbins isn't worth it though...there aint nothing out there worth racing....

but i think we need to roganize a bit more too....come up with club type thing....not saying we need to become a car club...but i like the idea of cruises....maybe have little meets at different spots....hit up some car shows together, ya know....just organzie a little more....we might be able to get more people to come out if we actually planned events....

 

does saturdays work for you guys? maybe grab a bit to eat somewhere that requires a drive? or meet up somewhere? i've been getting on other forums looking at other events and what not so we could go crash the parties!!!!

 

Yea organizing sounds good it seems to work for the mustang guys around here. I say we crash the varsity meet then if its as good as tj says. I will allow one sticker on my car if we ever make this official lol.

I never got a chance to see the 76, which is a surprise since I spent most of my last month in splinter village

Anyways, about these meets. What's this varsity meet at?? My car should be ready mid may...but I'll whip my lil daily up there just to hang.

 

Its at a restaurant I think called the varsity with a huge parking lot, its the first thursday of every month in atlanta. You can youtube it there are tons of videos that's how I found it looking for atlanta street racing videos haha.

kinda jealous, i wish i had a date so i knew when my car was done. its just stressful waiting for it but its my fault tho.... when our cars are finished it'd be great to run them and see where there at. you said you're doing the lq9 ive seen some pretty gnarly numbers from those things. should be a champ mang...
