Mike, did you get a different intake for the new motor?

 

i am this summer im getting a whole new top end, LS3 heads, custom cam, and 102mm or vic jr set up.

 

When you plain on getting it done? I thought it was togather all ready.

 

nope the motor is still sitting at the builders which the motor has been paid for 3 months ago, pretty much my main focus on the car right now is cutting weight/suspension and drag trim, and then going back to the motor....

 

you guys might be biting off a bit more than you can chew at the varsity meet. there are some pretty some nasty rides up there and guys that have been hussling longer than any of you. and from what ive heard those guys throw down some serious paper on races so if you are looking to race one of them id be overly prepared...

lol if im prepared if i run someone faster lol i do the 3 honks and leave on the second. and when i get a head shut down and say i had it by 2 cars lol.... jp jp when we go to varsity or even if we go somewhere else ill probably just hold off running untill i know the environment a little better........

There is a guy named powell on youtube that makes movies of a lot of the imports up there and always films the varsity. You can get an idea from that mike. And the whole reason to go up there to run people is because the competition is gone down here either their not into running or their not fast enough.

 

the only thing im not likin is its a thursday night lol i have formation friday, but i guess if you guys are in the same boat i might as well go....

 

And that video is a perfect example of why I don't race many forced induction cars from a roll. Race that same car from a dig. Add a driver that can brake boost well and from a roll that cars gonna eat up some fast cars unexpectedly.

 

I'm getting angry, I'm trying like hell to deploy so I can come back broke with a monster car.

 

I have a nice exhaust leak on it right now from the headers not sealing up correct and the speed bumps put a hole in my muffler

 

even with a full bottle i dont think id be trying to race for money up there at the varsity. there are some very sneeky cars up there! and pillion, there is plenty of competition there that is willing to race. just most of them wont post on here anymore and there are some that still post but are humble about their rides. if you search long and hard enough you will find someone faster. lol

 

Well of course bud there is always some one faster I'm not the kinda person that wants to be the fastest. But in all honesty showing up to sonic and asking around the only people who are willing to run their cars anymore are the guys we hang out with lately. Idk just looking for a change I guess.

I decided that I'm going to recruit LS cars from kelly hill there are about 50 that I see everyday so time to get them involved. I'm making flyers tonight
