Does anyone in here know anyone thats ran a Vortech/Procharger/Paxton setup with a wastegate on the inlet tube? So you can run a very small pulley but keep the boost regulated to a certain PSI...

 

Like a boost controller? I know there is a thread or two on this in the forced induction section.

 

Yeah pretty much, I've read as much as I can in there but it seems like there isn't a generally accepted outcome.

 

I think gmhightech performance did an article on this subject. Might try and see if they have it on their website.

Well I ordered my transmission, Jakes stage 4 with a transbrake. Should arrive at the end of the month. I will be home around the 21st for a couple weeks.

 

^ still slow..... hahaha just kidding should be a monster

If everything goes right I'll have an F1 fed monster next spring too maybe I can liven things up around here.

well guys....bad news on the beast....spun a bearing and develpoed a bad knock....but, on the bright side I'm gonna replace it with an LQ9 370 c.i. doing this on the cheap....gonna reuse as much as i can so the car shouldn't run much different than before...but we shall see....
