Mr Goodson,I'm sorry you feel we were such a "nightmare" to you and you are unhappy with our service,I really don't understand what else we could have done to please you.It in no way was our fault that you had parts breakage(which you didn't buy from us and we didnt install) however we did help fix it for you to drive back home,offer help with you dealing with the company that rebuilt it,and sent you multiple tunes because You changed your setup numerous times.you paid us for 1 tune which you got and was perfect,you said so yourself.then you changed fuels and we sent you another tune,free of charge.I knew you were upset about the blower breaking(again something we had nothing to do with,u bought used parts) but you told us how much you appreciated us and made the best of the situation.then you get home and bad mouth us on the internet to various people but yet call me again a few weeks later wanting a nitrous tune for free again,at which we simply said we would rather not get involved with that setup.I am truely sorry for your bad luck but as they say everything happens for a reason,and it looks like you have a ls motor project going now which your happy with and i still wish you the best of luck.Our reputation is very high in this industry and we will continue to keep it no matter what,I hate that you wasn't pleased and you had a bad experience but none of it in anyway had anything to do with us,again good luck on your future project and if you ever want to continue this conversation further you know my number at the shop and I will be in Columbus all weekend as well.I still hold the Columbus area in very high regards since it is my hometown and want to help everybody I can,you are no exception to this.

 

Wade u wasn't the issue, Bob is ! I haven't once bashed Yall period. This is the first I mentioned it. I will be more than glad to show the emails I have saved from bob to you. I never asked for anything free. The multiple tunes were sent because the car wouldnt run correctly once I left. Bob kurgan blames this on file corruption lol?? So I returned the car to stock and it ran great. The emails also show me asking him how much he would charge for nitrous tune and datalogging which he couldn't do because he felt t was out of his control?? For someone with such a high rep as u say he should know how to datalog. He was a smart *** from the get go. Charged me 250 for 2 half pulls when the charger failed. Then wanted to charge me extra next time on top of the 450 to tie the car back down. You nor bob helped me fix anything. Some kid lent a hand which bob wanted to charge 40 dollars to remove a 3 bolt blower so I did it myself. Since you want to put everything out public there you go. Most people help veterans like me, especially disabled ones but not kurgan. The only reason I even dealt with Yall afterwards is because I had money tied up in him. As for used parts, bobs as tried to sell me a used vortec afterwards for 1000 bucks, then charge 350 for as 100 dollar bracket. But kurgan motorsports plays a big role in why I'm not running ford software any longer. That's the only positive out of the wholr situation.

 

again you cant make everyone happy in any business,doesnt matter if its performance shops,or restaurants or bait and tackle shops,thats just the nature of business. every business has to draw the line somewhere on what they can do to try to make a customer happy and thats the hard part of being in business,i would have love to known what i could have done to make you happy.however i have said my part and you have said yours,im sorry you had bad luck and parts breakage and wish you the best of luck with the ls swap we will continue to be one of the premier ford shops there is period and you do not get the quality of cars we do by being a "nightmare" to deal with.best of luck to you with the new motor and good luck to all your future projects

 

You can't be serious! Better customer service is what. Bob kurgan told me to find another tuner because he was unwilling to help lol. You came in this thread to make false accusations against me to defend your rep when your wrong. Your join date and lack of post shows this. Stick to mustangs!

 

again im sorry you feel the need to bash us,again i wish you the best on your project you have going now.oh yea we also do more then mustangs,i.e. we tune every car that year one builds including the Bandit Trans Am's.hope you enjoy the ls motor once you finish it up,im actually starting my own ls project in a nova right now

 

Thank yourselves, every business controls their feedback. I actually recommended a guy who got his car tuned there before bob was an ***. I stated how my experience went, its all truth unlike yours. Your are a receptionist so I don't even know why your posting. Bob was the issue not you again!

 

FIRST OFF, i guarantee you im far more then a receptionist here,second i also have all the emails from you and know i speak the truth on alot of points.in the end it really doesnt matter,i replied to this thread because you are in my home town and i try my best to take care of everybody i can,especially down there.im sorry you had a bad experience,i really do wish you the best on the ls swap in your car and hope you have great luck and success with it.theres no point it continuing to drag this out,thank you for your referral you sent to us john and i hope the ls swap works out for you,theres no doubt about there potential at all

and yes i guess if pricing and selling job and builds,taking care of payroll for the entire shop,handling all the hiring and firing of employees,managing the 20 plus builds we have going on,running the dyno side and basically handling every aspect of the shop minus the tuning is a receptionist then yea thats what i am.

again john this is not a stab at you in anyway.i wish you the best and hope to see results from your new motor soon.

 

I feel the same wade I didn't mean it in a negative way, I was under the impression that's what you did. You always answered the phone and emails, and forums, the mechanics were in another part of the building its not a big deal. You may have been concerned but you did nothing to help, as a matter of fact my dyno session was more than I was quoted by you. I said it numerous times my issue is with bob not you. Unfortunately you are representing him. Go jump his butt not mine. Best of luck on your build also.

 

Hey guys, new to the forum but from the Columbus area. Just starting a 5.3 4L80E build in a 79 Malibu. I have a turbo 70 Chevelle as well.

Lol, you're making me feel old. I don't think it was that long ago. Well on second thought, it was about 3-4 years ago so I guess you're right. And that sucks about the varsity. I haven't been there in probably a year or so, so maybe a lot has changed.

 

Lots of things are always changing around here. Like I said before we always eat dinner on Wed. @ 8 at The Canon in downtown Columbus everyone is always welcome.

 

Sweet, I just put my street tires on my Chevelle, maybe I'll drive it.
