Got a question....Just found out that an old friend died last October, his mother contacted my wife about his car. He had a 06 GTO. it has been sitting since last year, they put a new battery in it and its spins over fine but will not fire. Any ideas besides bad gas? He lived in Atlanta for the past 6 years and only let Vengeance work on his car. His mother remebered him talking about me and my wife a lot so she called my wife. When he lived in Columbus we use to go to Reynolds a lot and the Atlanta f-body gathering every year. I'm going over some time Saturday and see what I can do with his car so any idea's would be great. Thanks.

Looks like my plans are set for a wedding expo at the conventions center...Well getting married will be good for the BAH! lol J/k I love her and she is good to me but ya I can't make the lunch unless something changes...

 

River city grill is on the corner of Airport thruway and Whitesville rd just down from K Mart. about 1/2 mile west from I-185. Airport thruway exit. across the street from Boo's liquor store. i cant think of the name of the shopping center its in. I'll find out and be back later.

Pinion angle, mine does the same thing. Going to go to the skills shop to adjust mine when I get my junk done.

 

that is usually the big issue... if you dont already have an angle finder, you can pick one up from sears for around 15 dollars, and UMI has instructional videos on youtube to show you how to read and make adjustments if you have never done it before.

did you try checkin out the video? if you watch that video and still dont grasp it, zz17iroc might be able to explain it better for you so that in the future you can do it on your own and save yourself some hassle.

I feel good. i got the GTO running for the guys parents. It seems there is a wiring problem with the BODY CONTROL MODULE on the GTO's....Whatever the hell that is. Found a wire that had rubbed under the dash by the glovebox. It was shorting out the BCM. Rapped it up good and replaced the fuse and it fired right up. They did not want to have the car towed or taken to a dealer as that is what their son would of also wanted. It is a very clean black GTO with some really nice black wheels. They said they would drive the car till they die. I think the mother started crying when it fired up. It was a great feeling to do this for them.

Rest in peace Rich....you are missed. The GTO lives.
