Depends on who operated the shop and what type of rep they had. But to my knowledge, a shop with an AWD dyno will be opening up sometime soon in town. Unless this shop has killer deals or something, I'll be sticking with Vengeance Racing.

I've heard about that event. It sounds like it could be pretty fun and it is for a good cause. Unfortunately, I don't have the time. It would be nice though. Are you planning on going?

Yeah, I went a few years ago and it was awesome - planning on going down and hopefully taking two Z06's (mine and the local red one with the Vengence stroker and spray).
Who needs a damn warranty.
its not that i have anything against vengence, just that buick and i are looking into opening a shop just for dynoing cars. we will have someone that can tune as a separate entity, and will work on trying to be a distributer for parts through companies such as nitrous outlet, the dyno jet wideband commander systems, and possibly spec clutches. it would be of a great help to us to have some of your support through some business if thing takes off.

To be honest, Im suprised Columbus doesnt have something of this sort yet. I know a few have tried and failed but I think it was more of the owners fault vs. customers.
I would love it and it would save a long trip to atl and such, Columbus is large enough to support this with the right people behind the wheel!
well that is what we are trying to do. i believe that we have enough potential in the area to support the overhead of a dyno alone, and then if we start selling performance parts as well we can offer the best of both worlds. and we may also offer nitrous bottle refilling at an affordable price. the biggest help from all of you would be advertising once we get opened. word of mouth is the best source for a client network. we will definately keep all of you informed as this progresses.

Well I'd spend money with you guys. Today at the car wash I saw a black Z06 and it sounded pretty good. It's got some rims and a hood on it and is owned by a black guy. I didn't talk to him so I'm not sure what was done to it. Oh that was me behind you firehawk that day around lunch time in my truck.
