Thats really nice to know that there's someone in town that knows what they're doing with good tuning software. I've also got a wife and kids which may limit night outings but there's always time to cook out at a park in town one weekend. I'm just glad there's others in Columbus that believe that there's no replacement for displacement.. lol. Those ricers don't seem to understand that. As for the Goat, I'm waiting till the GI Bill sends my back pay and then thinking about a decent H/C combo. I've been looking at summit and they have really nice set ups with 100% complete trickflow combos, but for half the price they also have Patriot combos minus pushrods and other hardware. Car only has 48K on it, and I keep royal purple in it, so I'm sure it can handle a decent set up.

There are a lot of good H/C combos out there. And for a descent price. Just let Sheik and I know what you want to do and when you want to do it, we can install the parts and tune. And Trickflow is the way to go.

I will definitely keep that in mind, and if I come across any decent packages I'll run it by here first and see what views yall have about it.

Benning auto parts and C&B auto! Both in the downtown Columbus area, they do pretty good work, had some heads I took to Benning n I was pleased with the work he did. There are more around here but I don't know the names of them n plus don't know how good the work is they do!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Barbados, I honestly would not trust anyone in columbus to do any machine work. At one time there was a rumor floating around that a guy in columbus was/did head work for a nascar team. I don't know how true the rumor was as no one could ever come up with a name for me. LS heads are a different ball game as I'm sure you figured out. Yes, they like to be ported and polished like any head and the same basic principles apply. As Karl mentioned earlier Llyod is a good guy and his prices are hard to beat for the work you get. I have his heads on my lt car and they look amazing and helped make more power than I wanted. Gary Maux or something like that in La does incredable ls head work. Also, a guy to talk to is Allan Futral, big naturally aspirated power is a walk in the park to him. Anytime I've seen a fast ls drag car and asked who built it, in the end they say go to Allan. Columbus needs a freakishly fast GTO.

Lets take the motor out of the GTO, place it in the vette and do a twin turbo stroker that makes, oh, 1100 at the wheels.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!!! thats all you need there sheik, start another project that takes forever to finish! lol i agree with the allen futral, but he is quite a bit higher than lloyd elliott. trust me, i priced him building my new setup, and just for short block alone, LME was over 1700 cheaper and id say just as reliable. AI makes good stuff, but again, very pricey. i know AI has some of the fastes LTx cars around, but i cant see paying out all that $$$$ if i dont have to. im using LME for the short block and lloyd elliot for H/C/I setop. both have been extremely helpful! i think LME was the first company to get a stock shortblock LS into the 9's, and i think that was an N/A motor as well. may be someone to talk to. i checked them out for along block, but being that hte top end was pretty much identical as to what lloyd outlined for me, i cant see the added $2k to pay them to put it together. ill just have my crew cheif assemble it for me at a much lower cost. speaking of, where is that guy??? he doesnt ever reply to PM's, rarely posts on here anymore...... hey sheik, does the wardon have him on lockdown again?????

Ha Ha Ha LOL! I've just been pretty busy at work and pulling a lot of 24 hrs duty. Trying to catch up on my sleep to say the least. I haven't even got together with Sheik about his car yet because I've been working so much.
