No, I agree the car is slow. Cam only cars with bolts on's make more than I do on a regular basis. Got alittle more done on it, probably going to go speed density. The room between the tb and the lid is tight. The 85mm maf is alot longer and doesn't allow for any flex. Thinking about getting rid of the cruise control to clean up the engine bay too.

Well Craig, were going to speed density on the SS. There's not enough room for the maf, just trying to come up with a solution to connect the lid and tb.

Why cant you connect the maf? What kind of intake/tb/lid combo are you running?.

He's running a ported Fast 90 setup with matching maf and airbox. But I think the plate is the issue.

I think the plate is taking up just enough room to make things alittle tight.

Hey, I'm new to the forum and I'm using this place to research info for my Goat, just kind of stumbled across this and started reading some threads, considering I grew up around Columbus. I was wondering if you guys have started that GM club for columbus and if I could find a way to ride to a gathering. I'm currently in a 04 Goat bone stock excluding some cosmetics, but you can't get to much more GM than an LSX car, even if the body came from Australia?

Well there is a few of us that meet up, it's died down alittle lately. My car is still coming togather, Karl is deployed, and Craig picked up a new cycle. The thing with Columbus and the car scene is that it's hard to find a spot and the import guys not show up acting like idiots. As for the goat we can get you squared up and save you money doing it as long as your patient. I have HPTuners, Craig can REALLY tune, and I try and keep up with the ls and whats its doing.

That'll work. Besides room there's the angle of the tb and lid.
