It took me about an hour to tow Karl's car to my house.

My best so far is 12.30@111.67mph with a STILL crummy 1.95 60ft time.

hahaha. not too bad, work on that 60ft. what converter are you running? you have the mph for high 11s. i wish my car was running cuz this weekend was great weather for the dragstrip

 

it really was great weather, and dont let buick lie to you, it only took like 48 minutes to tow my car to his house afterward. lol my fastest run was 110.64 mph.

 

Karl, what happened at the track? sounds like you did have a rough weekend, i read about the incident on Friday night. that sucks, but sounds like both cars were running good this weekend. I have a "new" opti on the way so shouldnt be too much longer and project "el Cheapo" should be back on the road.

 

Lets just say the 6 speed is coming out!!!!!!! 11.90's @ 120 with a 2.02 60 ft is not what I call a good day at the track. I was highly upset.

I would like to state openly and truthfully that Karl beat my MPH expectations by 6-7 mph. His ET's were where I thought they would be, but for an LT1 with those gears, 110+ mph is very impressive.


If Karl can possibly get all the parts on his car to work at the same time, I may be in trouble

Since the t56 is coming out of your car man try to work up a deal for me so I can get it I always wanted to do the t56 swap on my car. I would love to have that tranny. lol

 

I could not pass up an opportunity to try a 6 speed. I wanted to put one in my car for along time, so I had to try it out. I'll be putting my auto back in tomorrow, that's what I used to post my previous times. Anyone that drag race knows that a auto will always be faster. Like I said "I had to try it".

I just changed my spark plugs because the porcelain on the #3 plug was cracked.
