Karl, I found the problem with the transmission. The EPC solenoid (force motor) was bad, and it was brand new! I called my buddy that built the trans and he brought one to me this morning. This thing will give you whiplash when it shifts! lol I will be turning it down a little with the software now.
I still need to talk to Craig about tuning a TPI Vette.
Keep me posted if anyone goes to the track, I may drag this tank out there to see what it runs.

wish i would have seen this earlier, I just got back from Phenix City track. ran a 7.86 on a crappy 60ft. but the car is quicker/faster so the cam swap was worth it. i can not get the car to hook on the stock suspension anymore, and i still need a set of 1.6 roller rockers. and i think the other night i may have only been on 7 cylinders as i had a loose plug wire at the track lol.

7 second times with no traction is pretty impressive.
I could not have gone to the track today anyway. Even after fixing my trans I had to many other things to do. I talked to Craig today and he said he may go to Reynolds this Saturday. If nothing comes up I may try to go. I really don't care what the truck runs but I am curious to see. I really want to weigh it. I'm sure it weighs 4000lbs without me in it.

thanks guys, i am pretty happy with the car for what it is. Not bad for doing the cam swap in a carport. i HOPE that once i get the 1.6s on and my traction issues fixed it should be a mid 7 (1/8th) car. Big thanks to Craig, he has helped me a ton on this car.

. Yeah right I wish, lol!! Are you talking about a newer ZR1? If so, I haven't seen any around here. Matter of fact, the only time I've seen one of the new ones is when I was up a Vengeance Racing the other month.
I've seen the silver R35 driving around though. That dude is at the strip mall everyday. There is also a red one in town that looks pretty bad.

Josh, that is some awesome ETs! I ran 7.9@90mph with a 1.95 60ft time, so I know how you feel trying to cut that 60 footer. Sometimes I feel like I could get out and push the car faster to start out, LOL.
