well I just got done ordering my brake stuff .... Brake Pacakge 1: 4 ATE Rotors, 2 sets Hawk HPS Pads ... and also 2 liters ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid... So I guess I will install these in the next two weeks or so.. anyone need some old rotors or pads

Keystone a local body parts store has my fender for $97.28, but still no luck with GFX.

 

well if you are going to do the 91/92 GFX kit you may as well just epoxy that crack and sand it back down for now. then we will just look for the other kit to put on the car. anyone know where the Fbody grave yard is up near ATL??? if so let us know so we can check it out.

oh by the way sheik, we checked out the LT1/auto combo at that salvage yard and the guy wants $1k claiming the engine to be good. he may get that for it, but it wont be from me.

well the PCM was already gone out of that car, its minus the opti, and the accessory mounting bracket off the passenger side. also minus water pump. i dont see where it is worth it especially since i only need a block. and to be honest, for a grand id just spend the lil bit extra and get the dart block. thinking of sending my block off to callies and having them lighten it. you should see what all they do to them! its pretty sweet. they can take up to 28lbs off of it. thats quite a diet for a block.

 

I would think that lightening a block could result in a loss of strength. 28lbs shouldn't be that hard to shed, heck I could stand to lose that on a diet.

check it out sheik. id do everything except have them cut away the oil filter area. looks pretty wicked, but dont see where they take away anything that would weaken the structual integrity of the block. im going to check into and see what it costs and if they have any problems with it.

I must say that I am pleased to see that there is a trans am/firebird/camaro...etc "gathering/club" here in columbus...i have mentioned several times to my club that it would be nice to see one of that nature...but nothing has really stuck together (before us) other than street machines...
