Started the car tonight and hooked up the scanner. Now it's saying I got a bad knock sensor. I don't have a check engine light though.

if its anything like my car it will hold old codes in the system until you clear them out. if my SES light comes on and goes back off, i can hook up my data logger two weeks later and still see what caused it. maybe it was something that just glitched and went back off. a bad knock sensor will make a car run like crap. trust me, i know this!! lol also if we need to change knock sensors, we may as well replace that intake while at it! let me know if you need help with any of it. and thanks again for the rear end help!

Got the intake mailed. Stopped by the old bill heard parts and the same people were there. Tried to get them to match gm parts direct and they wouldn't do it. Once I get the intake back I'll get the other parts ordered. I'm going to need to tune it once the intake goes on. I'm hoping I don't have to do a fuel pump to fix my problems. I'll check the fuel pressure sometime soon.

saweet! you puttin on a new TB also?? you gonna pick up some tuning software?? if so im sure we will be able to tweak the tune. i cant wait to see it run! car rides so smooth with the S60 under it! youll have to go for a ride in it sometime soon. back end of the car feels like its on rails, but the front still needs some work. still wanna get them shocks and struts though. thinking of lowering it down after i get my adjustable torque arm, panhard bar, and relocate kit. what do you think?

Yea I got a 90mm tb to go on it. The hd's aren't my first choice when lowering a car, I'd at a minimuim suggest the revalves or koni's. Once you do all this I think you'll be happy with it and the stock springs. I know my SS with the bilsteins and slp springs will handle pretty well for what they are. I think with the thermostat change and intake and tb I'll defianantly need a tune. Might put the bigger injectors in her too.

I don't think it is, you can come look at it if you want - you still live near Flat Rock?

Here's a couple of pics:

jhelms, out of curiosity would you do a better deal on the cam and stuff if sold locally? How many miles are on it, did you have to fly cut or is there plenty of room?

Didn't require fly cutting, but I also don't know if there was plenty of room - it's a big cam but I've never heard of anyone having to flycut to fit it.

I'd sell for a better price locally, it was installed about 2 years ago, probably 10k+ miles on it?

I'm supposed to get a payment on it tomorrow but will let you know if I don't...
