Here's a few teaser pics...

Just did 3 quick 3 clips with the camera mounted on a 700rwhp Z06... the thing I like most is how easy it is to setup and use.
I have a 'pro/director' style heavy camcorder vehicle mount and it's awesome but is a little time consuming to setup for my HD camcorder. With this thing it's just stick, click, and go!
Here's a quick video with no editing except speeding it up (6x).

Clip 1 - Mounted on the drivers' side rear bumper, driving through wet fog on my way to work; video
Clip 2 - Mounted center 'high' on the windshield, quick drive around town at lunchtime; video
Clip 3 - Photo-every-2-seconds mode, then combined into stop-motion video (clips @ .125 seconds each)
The sound is messed up in this sped up version of the 1st two clips, but sounds fine at 'real' speed - so next time I'll add some music to all the clips like I did on the last clip...
I also didn't play with the low vs. high sensitivity settings for the audio either - this was truly plug-n-play experiment.

The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
Who owns the black Lambo Gallardo? I saw it Friday afternoon.
I went to B'ham this weekend to www.barbermotorsports.com for the IRL Indy Car practice session and got some cool pics (yep, got some of Danica Patrick)... I had a media / press pass so was able to get some pretty unique perspectives. Check out the pics and lemme know what you think:

A few of my favs:
They had a crew of 5-7 guys washing EVERY trailer there!

Barber has an awesome museum:

Early morning light behind one of the trailers:

My first try at a 'tiled' panorama/composite - I think I used about 12 shots and stitched them together for this one. I cropped it to end up with a 31 megapixel image; still might need to correct some of the distortion a bit:

On Saturday they had about 7,000 in attendance and had a car corral / car show area with a few cool rides:

One for Mustang guys:

Quick action shot:

Heavily processed 30 megapixel sweeping corner panorama:

Oops...

I thought this was pretty cool, a 'person sized' rod/piston sculpture carved right out of a tree...

Up close and personal:

Danica's car:

Unique perspective; inside a LIVE pit lane:

Couple of quick candids of Danica (I still have a bunch more to go through and edit/upload):
