Would like to meet up with some of you guys one day since a lot of us seem to be on post. I drive a 94 green trans am. I see a lot of fbodies on post so not sure if they are on this site or not. I usually see a red ws6 a black formula and white formula just about everyday on main post.

 

I see the black formula all the time parked over by soldier's plaza....I've seen the red WS6 at the gate a couple of time too. I drive a white Z28 but I work over on Kelley Hill....once i get my car running right i'll be down to meet up and do whatever...head to the track or something...

 

I work on main post so I don't get out to Kelly hill too much unless its for training or something else. I'm usually stuck in the motorpool. 63b(91b) myself.

Right now we got 1 person deployed, 1 guy with a bad foot and my car is tore apart. We usually met up at the sonic by the new strip mall. Seems the ricers think that they can hang out where ever we hang out. This is one of the reasons, amongst many, as to why they are gay. There are a few nice evo's though. Other than that, a couple of us are usually helping each other out fixing or modding our cars.

 

I've driven by that sonic a few times en route to somewhere else and have had a couple ricers follow me for whatever reason so yes very gay.

the Red WS6 just might be me that you are seeing... I am alway driven from Sand Hill to main post, but I live off of Warms Springs Connection...

 

so I got the intake put back in and no change.....I really don't know what else to check...I know its getting fuel....so it has to be ignition related...but i've checked everything dealing with the ignition from the coil packs to the plugs....i'm about to just take it to a shop and see if they can't figure it out....because i don't know what else to do....

 

That's usually where I see the ws6 at on Dixie. And I live past the warm springs connector out on milgen

Okay...so i decided to take my spark plugs out......again.....and just check them for the third time....the plugs for #3 and #5 cyl. were cracked! never noticed it before....but this time my hands were dirty enough that when i wiped the dirt off the plug the cracks showed since the dirt went into the crack....also the #6 plug wire was black where it plugs into the spark plug...so i replaced the plugs and wires....again....and tokk it out and it ran great....the problem has finally been fixed. atleast I hope so...I'm going to give it a week until I'm satisfied that the problem has gone away though.

 

Glad to hear you solved the issue. Its always the small things that get overlooked. My friend swore he had a bad lifter, turns out one of his spark plugs was slowly backing out.

 

yeah well i had replaced them after i started having the problem...but it didn't go away...so i pulled them all out again to check them and they seemed fine....but i decided to just go ahead and do it again...and sure enough...i found a couple of them cracked....

Well I took the Z out today and ran into a white and blue gt500 on i 85 exhaust sounded good nice sounding blower whine also.. Well he got on it I wasnt really trying to run the car hard since the rear is howling, So I sped up and pass him and he seen the Cobrakillers 2 sticker on the back. I know because he flash his lights at me sow we slowed down to about 60 and he honked it off, Normally Ill just roll into it but since his buddy was taping I just smash the gas. There is nothing like a 60 mph rolling burnout. In short i put 6 cars on him and shut down at 160+. We pull over and talk its a K.B with cam pulley and meth says he put down 720, I told him I put down 760 on low boost lol. I got invited out to a bbq next week in ATL with his people. Cool gt500 owner.

 

haha...that's awesome....it's always nice to meet some cool people who don't get butt hurt when they lose a race. I see it like this "you win some you lose some". I might be pissed off if i lose to a car that I know I should have beat....but i won't be butt hurt about it.
