Thanks for the love guys. Im hoping it's able to put up one hell of a fight with this jakes performance 4l80 w/t-brake I'll be ordering in November. This week ill be ordering my GT88 & vic jr set up.

I'm really enjoying this build because its teaching me about building a car around goals instead of just hoping you have something fast...

all said and done the car should be somewhere in the 9.XX's

 

doesn't mean ill be able to do it though... And before it gets flamed im not being cocky just trying to make small talk for this dead thread

 

I kinda regret not going with a jakes 4l80 trans. I take it you are going to run it off the factory pcm?

 

thats what i planned on... i havent really read to much against it so i thought i'd give it a chance...jake makes a really good product, im going 4l80 because i can run a 3.25 gear and still turn 2100 to 2400 rpms at 75mph overdrive is pretty great
