LOL, I think that those are the same dudes that are looking for a race while throwing around ridiculous numbers so that no one will ever step up to the challenge. I figured someone around here would have something to shut them up.

 

What color is it? Is it a C5 or a C6? It might be one out of the army of Vettes that I saw when I was at Vengeance recently. When I come back I plan on either taking my car there to get a stroker set up or putting my savings towards the purchase of a C5 Z06 or a Terminator.

 

well if you run into any of them again, have them come out to the park. i may know someone who will shut them up. just have to see.

 

i'll race them when the snow melts, just make it a short race. to anybody that doesn't know any better my car probably sounds like it has tons o' horsepower.

The C5Z gets my vote - and I seriously considered going with a Terminator for the extra utility of a back seat, plus the absolutely unbeatable sound (IMO) of the blower whine.

Yep, it's only been sprayed on two occasions though so far - once to be tuned on the dyno and 2nd with me driving; melted the OZ700 clutch on a 3rd/4th pull.

Has a new clutch now...

 

Nope, (not that I know of) - I don't think he's run a black Z06. He's run a blue Z06 though (mine).

 

Yeah man, I loooooveeeee Terminators!! But I think now would be a perfect time for a Z06 since I don't have any kids that I know of (just kidding!!) and I can enjoy a 2 seater. But the prices are very good right now for either one so who knows, lol. One of my friends took me for a ride in his pullied cobra with an exhaust and it was crazy!!

TJ did you have any luck with locating a 4l60e trans?

 

took the old "muffler" off and started the car with open y-pipe, no change at all to the sound of the car. new muffler is on, now its not insanely loud. hopefully no negative effects on performance, but we will see.

 

what muffler did you swap to??? that old SLP bullet muffler is nothing more than the illusion of a muffler anyway. lol

 

Having a little back pressure with your stock flowing heads may help on the bottom end with such a high stall.
