they are asking $10,000 OBO

 

Yeah right $10,000 OBO for a 98 SS that has over 91,000 miles. Is he on crack?!! I've seen them cheaper on ebay as low as $6,700 with that many miles. Somebody needs to put a note on his car.

so i'm pissed...the car i was gonna buy in AL was sold yesterday. The guy at the dealership told me another employee sold it behind his back cuz he told me he was gonna hold it for me until Sat.

But I found another one in TN for $10,000 w/ 28K miles on it....so i think I'm gooing to jump on that...

oh and i actually looked at that silver SS on post today too...had some business at soldier's plaza and thought i'd check it out...but yeah...way too pricy for me....plus i want an A4 anyways so yeah....but that car is clean though...

 

Stay away from the 98 cars. They are known as the red headed step child when it comes to the ls cars.

 

I wouldn't give more than 5800 for that SS. I'm pretty sure your right wein on the ignition cylinder being bad.

 

It is only like 13 bucks to replace an ignition cylinder.... at least that is what it is going to cost me on my "Blue Bitch"...

LOL, I remember a while back some dude was selling a 35th anniversary SS for like 30K on Ft. Benning. It had super low miles though, but still that's a crap ton for a 4th gen.....in my opinion anyway.

Isn't that by Atlanta? Why would You go up there just for 3 hours to drink coffee and look at some snooty guys cars. Anyway I thought you were going to Reynolds with us for Southeastern Drag Day and have some real fun? It's only a 45 minutes drive. I thought our cars were made to be driven, not to be put in a showcase. Why have it if you don't drive like you stole it, where is the fun in that???

Here it is. My 98 Camaro w/ 28K miles. Was owned by an old lady in Florida. Had a stack of service records that came with it. She was 51 when she bought it new in '98. Has had a few gremlins over the years but she was very **** about little things going wrong so it was well taken care of.
