that Y looked like it was 3" in and 3" out. not a fan of the way the driverside meets into the flow of the passenger side either seems like it would substantially slower flow than the mufflex that uses the merge Y. just my opinion though, and for 500 dollars i definately wouldnt go that route.... you could buy the mufflex, and then just modify the front of it a bit and still come out cheaper, and in my opinion better.

http://www.keislerauto.com/recent-ne...k-6-speed.html

This is to pimp, it will handle 1200hp and 1000 tq. The real kicker is that it only cost $2800 from what I was told. Only down side that I can see is that it is noisy, oh well, just means you need a louder exhaust.

it looks to be based off the magnum T56 which has a different shifter location than a 4th gen Fbody. i looked at the model vehicles they make it for, and definately didnt see my car, or the 98-02 cars on the list.....

so i got a jump start on my LT install today....all i have left to do is take the stock manifolds off and then i can get them Hookers up in there and put everything back together.
i have run into a couple of problems though. The front O2 sensor on the drivers side does NOT want to come out. is it safe to spray some penetrating fluid on it?
also, i can't get the steering linkage off to save my life, any tips/hints?

Make sure the steering link is straight and both bolts are completly out. Spray some w d on the top end and use a fork or screw driver to pry it up from the rack. You have to go up then down to get it off. W d is safe for the o2 housing it wont leak past the treads enough to get on the sensor. Also if your going long tubes I would not use o2 extension they are shitty. The bosch 02 Part# 13111 for a 98-2002 c5 rear o2 pig tails are long enough to reach they are alittle pricey but the will work. I use them on all my header jobs with no issue.

ahhh...see...thats where my problem was with the steering linkage. the how-to guide i was using for reference just said to go down. but going up first makes sense...i should be good on that....and i'll spray the threads on the O2's since its safe. thanks...

Just happened to hop into this section by random. I own an 04 CTS-V and reside in Phenix City ATM. Do you guys do any meets? (It seems just a few guys posting for the last few pages).
