Need some advice... BAD Aight, here's the deal:
1. Back in middle of January, one of my vettes goes into a shop (not a sponsor). I was getting a 3 stage ARE drysump installed as well as heads/cam and a fuel system change.
2. It's now at June 26th, and the car is still not put back together, as the coilovers need to be slapped on it (Not a hard job in and of itself, maybe 4 hours) and then tuned.
I was hesitant to begin with on having the coilovers installed by the shop as I had already had a deal with a race shop to have them corner balanced and installed for ~1000 and with a few ancillary and related items taken care of. But oiling lines got in the way of the transverse spring so the spring had to go bye bye
3. The amount of work to install the required and desired work is what I feel to be noncommensurate with the amount of time it has taken thus far.
So what am I asking?
How do I go about this situation?
What's some advice, I've never been in this situation before. It's one thing if it's a parts backorder; I've encountered 4,5 month delays courtesy of those before.
If it drags out too much further, I'm gonna sell the whole ****ing car and dump all the parts and just get a damn Viper ACR or an American Iron series car or something.
