Check that out. I know its IL but a good lawyer can start a precedent in your state. Might not be "right" but the law is a pretty gray area overall.
Also, radar detectors are good only if you use them correctly. If you are going 15+ over the speed limit there is no way they can help you then. Got to learn how to use them as a tool and not as a wall of protection.

Go to court I got a ticket 86 in a 70 DA reduced it to Improper Equipment unless you have tickets in the last three years the DA will reduce it ..

Go to court don't waste money on a lawyer , I got a ticket on I40 doing 86 in a 70 tropper said I would have to go to court so I did DA asked me if I have had a ticket in this county in the last three years I said no sir he said I will reduce it to inproper equipment all they want is the money
