I've ran A4 for a while now and I'm in the process of swapping to a T56. Personally I'm kinda wanting it for the fun factor, and I want to be able to play with the Car more. I'm not going in it for competitions..so the aspect of making the Car as fast as can be is really not needed. I built it up and just about everything in it, so this is another one of my "lets see if I can do this mod..".

Like mentioned about about destroying Auto's.. I killed mine yesterday on the highway..a downshift to pass someone blew mine up. I've murdered two A4's in the last 6 months. That is another thing that is starting to irritate me..so I'm swapping to the built T56 and I see that lasting a hell of alot longer, and me having alot more fun with it.

That and I just put in a Moser 9", so I have the *** under it to support the T56 with my setup..I plan on crushin some Cobra's on the Highway with the 'ole LT1 Car..

ok, its been a while since i wrote on here. mueller... i know you're talking about pardo and his gay *** camaro. to let everyone know on here, pardo bought his camaro with those mods. he has done nothing by himself and never will. we both raced a year ago in centerville. my z28 was bone stock at the time and he had those stupid mods. his reaction time was a whole second faster than mine. and at the end he beat me by half a hood length, not a car length!! i got all these mods done now and he still talks ****, yes he does, but you can ask mueller... he doesn't want any of this. i beat the hell out of that $35,000 WRK STI. and looked what happened. he got smoked, all and all i would rather have a 6 speed anyday.

The 6 speed felt faster, but the auto I have now is faster on the street and track.

I think by this time you have got the idea. If you plan to drag the car on a regular basis a M6 is not the way to go. Now if you just want to drag for fun once in a while then rowing gears adds a little more of a challenge but much more in the fun factor on the street. Be warned..........if you are very competative and want that very last tenth of a second on the strip, better go with auto cause once you hit the track you will be very frustrated trying to match the consistency of an auto. This is one of those "can't have your cake and eat it too" kind of problems.

And you will get raped by their stall on launch.

Last I checked, my 5500rpm launch does just as good as their stall. I'm not leaving on a 10 bolt. Spooled 9" and I ain't scared to tear anything up. I'm not being an *** or anything, I'm just saying that my car leaves pretty hard itself.

A Stall works good for consistantancy.. I had mine in and I could pull consistant 1.56X 60ft's. I know people with M6's that are dumping it high and pulling consistant 1.50's..

It's all what you want. I'm tired of shredding Automatics, time to play with the T56's.

well i went up to centerville yesterday and it is hard to be consistent with the launch. i was staying consistent at 11.4 all day and i had one great launch and banged out a 11.2 so that was good on the 1000 foot. and that was only my second time at the track so i am still trying to get it down.

Don't worry about reaction times....they don't affect your ET at all. You can sit for 5 minutes if you wanted to. With practice, they'll come down. I've run as bad as .45X and my best ever was .004. Once, I redlighted with a -.001 . So close to a perfect launch.

11.25 is range for wearing a helmet now at center ville GAY. but it was fun i lost some torque when i put the 3 inch pipe all the way back on the true dual so my first gear wasn't at quick as it was last time but i can rip through 2nd at about 3500 rpms now and third all the way through. my reaction time last night was like .2
