LS-1 and LS-6 Blocks

Does anyone have an idea what are the differences between the LS-1 and an LS-6 engines?

The major difference is the openings by the crank that allow pressure to equalized between the cylinders. You can notice these if you have the oil pan off looking at the bottom of the engine.
