Oklahoma anyone? Anyone from Oklahoma in here going to the test n tune at Noble tonight? I'm takin the SS up there... Hopin to run low 12s to maybe a high 11 on the motor and somewhere in the 10s on spray. See ya there!

Meh... Not worth a damn. Did decent at the beginning of the night but went downhill as time went by... The humidity got way high and everyone started slowing down. On a good night with someone that could actually drive the damn thing (apparently not me, cuz I just cant seem to get the launch right) I think it would run high 11s on motor and high 10s on spray, but all I could get out of it was an 11.66 @ 119 mph on the very last run, with spray. There's way more in it than that, I just need to learn how to drive the damn thing. I did run a 12.2 @ 113 on the motor before the humidity came up... Not too shabby I think since it weighs around 3700 pounds.
A big part of the deal with the spray run being weak is I didn't really launch it hard... I didnt know if the stock sized wheel studs would hold up to a 5500 or 6k clutch dump while spraying... Everything has held up just fine to a 5500-5700 dump on the motor, I'm just worried about breaking the studs if I launch it that high on the spray. They're stronger than actual stock ones, but they're stock size.

hey whats up, im fron oklahoma city, i just bought my ss about a week ago, i need to take it to noble sometime, do you go there often? im not sure how fast it would go though, its stock, and it really doenst seem like its as fast as it should be cause if i stomp on it it really wont spin the tires unless i do a burnout and then take off as im spinnin them. do you think if changing my cats would help? my serivice engine light is on and it is saying its my cat so im not sure
