I'm not looking forward to that. Here in Huntsville its pretty much a tourist town so they have anything you can think of on there main strip, its about 3 or 4 miles of malls, stores, resturants, anything i need to feel like im back in a big city, haha.

Plus the roads are ******* awsome out here, nice and smooth, some small twisties, you know stuff that my stock suspension boat can handle w/out scaring the hell out the girlfriend too much, lol.

hey Dallas how did you make out for the storm? I just got back today the shop is tore up!!!!! but the Hawk is fine not a scratch. But we won't have power for a while the main substation in Houma is messed up bad. 2 to 3 weeks at least is what they are saying. I'm staying on the westbank for now. My house lost a bunch of the roof and some shutters are gone a few windows broken but it could have been worse.

We got back last Thursday and some of the reports that were given to me turned out to be bullshit...lol. For one, Taco Bell is still there but Norm's Daquiries was hit hard...so was Bubba's Poboys. As of today, we're still out of power but bought a generator before we left Southaven, Ms and four 5 gallon gas cans. We came home a different route because I-55 was nearly stopped just below McComb, Ms. Made it home in 8 hours. Went through St Francisville...damn...that place is torn up. Alot of the huge oaks are down. It'll take them a month just to clean up the tree damage.

My house is missing a few shingles on the back roof and half of the vinyl fence is down. The back roof of the shop has no shingles on it but the black paper is still there so that'll protect it from water damage. Looks like I'll be blue-roofing it.

Dave, you guys got power yet? I heard the Country Club is back up and running. As far as the golf course, I heard it'll be a links style now with several trees down. It used to be tight to play but now will be more wide open. I should be able to shoot par now...lol.

It also looks like half of downtown (if not more) has power now. Wendy's, Popeye's, McD's, Taco Bell are all open for business. Lowe's and Wally World too. And as far as the camps down the bayou, some were lost but not near the amount that was told to me. That's how rumors get spread. My bad guys. I wanted to straighten that out as soon as possible. My buddies big camp on Grand Isle made it too. And my Uncle's camp in Montegut made it. Thank God there wasn't the flooding they were predicting either.

Still no power here in Central Lafourche.

Hey Slow, I hear ya about the rumors; I was so sick of hearing what was "destroyed". Most of it was bullshit.
