I really believe there is no #1 clear cut favorite in the SEC. I do think Fla/Bama/Alburn/Georgia/LSU are all national Championship material. I am a fan of all the SEC teams until they play LSU

Hopefully GA will fix some that this weekend for Bama.

Nah #4 put a helmet on him... Powers maybe? Nice lick for a db, It was just deceptive because it was going away from the sideline cameraman and kinda hard to see...

Yeah yeah... and the Tide rolls on. It was a win- win for me watching that game, because I despise Auburn and I absolutely hate Les Miles. So regardless of who lost, I was happy. (One less team ahead of the Tide in the West too. )

Im an auburn fan. One thing I love about sec football is really cant tell what's gonna happen. After seeing how they played ms state I thought the season was done for..but they put up a show against lsu..I still think they will beat bama.
I was at the alabama tulane game...i really wasnt impressed with the way they played tulane at all.

Do you need to see the one from 2003 too?
The hit from Powers was a glancing blow. Watch at the 30 second mark of the video. Brett Helms, #74, is coming across and his right knee catches Hatch in the back of the helmet.
It was probably the best thing that coulda happened though. Not that I wanted Hatch to get hurt, because I don't, but that brought Lee into the game. He threw a pic 6 then went 0 for 5 to end the first half. In the second half, he proceeded to go 11 for 16 with a game winner at the end. A great game, none-the-less. Two very good football teams.

Well I was WRONG about Florida...by the looks of today there is NOT ONE dominate team in College football ...every game is a toss up. For everybody to be talking about how good USC was and how all the big name SEC schools are, they have all looked pretty bad. Here is another year of a National Champion with 2 or 3 losses

Doesnt say much about the SEC at all...Florida beats a Tennessee team that is "supposed" to be a close game and then comes back to lose against Ole Miss? Miss St. plays Auburn a close game then gets blown out by GT by 5 td's. Lsu was beat by Aurbun until the last minute or two in the game. Then Auburn barely beats a Tennesse team that got demolished by Florida...Sounds to me like they are all inconsistent at best....Im not downing the SEC by any means because I am a GT fan which plays in the ACC which to put it nicely is the worst its been in 20 years. I just dont think any conference is just an all out powerhouse.

NONE of the other conferences are as tough as the S.E.C. PERIOD!!!!
Take the best team from each conference and let them play nothing but SEC teams for a season. My bet is they will be assured a losing season.

I don't really think we are a powerhouse. The defense is the only thing we have going for us, as it is almost the only way we know how to score points. I say Tommy just leaves the defense in all time, our offense can sit on the sideline and take notes (well, save Cody. We'll put him in every once and while). We never really use him when we need him anyways *coughlsucough*

Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Lsu, Aubrun...that is the SEC . The other 5 teams could play in any other conference and still lose games. Auburn is push as to whether they would win in another conference either. And so far Alabama is the only team that has looked like a powerhouse from the SEC so no I dont think the SEC is just all out and above everybody else like people think.
