It is a factory installed High Performance Option from SLP. It was $300 option.

does a blackwing lid even make as much power as say an slp lid or a fast toys 85mm lid?

I don't know but personally I ended up purchasing the slp lid instead. If your Hawk is an 02 it already has the blackwing is all I know. I wanted one, but not THAT bad lol. I just realized this thread is still going lol.
