Was Project Pumpkin one of these? I can't even remember the origin of it. To get this started while we wait on David, maybe somebody could post some pics of it.

The "original" Pumpkin was built for GM at their behest as a "reverse 30th" car...Hugger Orange with White Stripes...from a body-in-white for SEMA '96. It featured an LT4-based 383 stroker, solid roof, and chrome SS wheels. It was NOT serial numbered, originally, by GM as it was NOT an assembly-line car...it was literally "hand built", using donor-car parts, as was/is the practise of creating "Show Cars", sometimes...

That's why some of the cars being sold from the GM Heritage Collection are being sold on "Bill of Sale" or "Salvage Title" only...

Pumpkin #2 was reverse-built as "White Stripes on Hugger Orange" for the owner of Wilhemy Motors in Montreal. It was originally an assembly-line T-Top LT1 30th Anniversary SS...

1996 SS Serial Number 001, as per SLP, was a White T-Top 6-speed with Black Leather Trim, and was completed AFTER Zeke's "Serial Number 002" solid-roof Red "pilot" car. Why? 002 was used to test-fit everything required for the conversion, a process the owner of 001 was NOT prepared to let his car be used for... 002 was also used as a "mule" for certain SS "upgrades"...exhaust, suspension bits, driveline "enhancements" etc., and was featured as a "media" car as well... Currently has 50-odd thousand miles, 383 LT1-based stroker, 2700 rpm converter, long-tubes, but the original parts including the engine are still with Zeke...
