As of May 6th Matt Berger still owned the 02 Daytona Yellow Berger SS.
It was on the showroom floor for the unveiling of the 5th gen.

see more photos of the unveiling..... http://assets.bergerchevy.com/camaro...ing/camaro.htm

THAT was Matt Berger Senior's 2000 Millenium Yellow Berger SS Convertible. . . .

The car in question is Matt Junior's Daytona Yellow 2002 T-Top . . .

Something i have always wondered, with a normal LS1 fbody hitting somewhere between 13.5-13.9 in the 1/4 mile. What do these special editions do? Like the 380 HP and the 435 HP versions, I have even heard of the 530 HP and 630 edition ones. Do those exist?

IIRC the 435 Phase II Berger SS does the quarter in 12.7. . . .

The higher HP packages became available on the ZL1's, Hot Rods and Dick Harrell Cars . . . but any GMMG car can go back and be upgraded.

Necroposting. That yellow 427 car is on an old, old, old Year One catalog I ordered many years ago. That was pretty much what got me hooked on 4th gens.

No track...The insurance will not cover the car on the track and will instantly cancel.

Default searching for the 100 Berger Camaros

I'm curious, does anyone know where the 100 GMMG Berger Camaros are? About 4 years ago I drove up to Grand Rapids Mi. with my brother when he purchased #8,red w/black stripes,T-top,375h.p. Unfortunately my brother passed away 2 years ago and my neice has the car.Nothing was ever changed on the car but fluids. The car was originally sold to a guy up in the north east I believe and accoording to the salesman, the only reason he traded it back was to have the last year made(2002)It was also a GMMG car.My brother's car was signed under the hood by numerous people and there was a magazine article done on those cars using my brothers #8.If I remember correctly the photo shoot included pics of the car at the Michigan Int. Raceway.
We lived in Illinois, about 50 miles from LaHarpe,Il where Fred Gibb had his dealership. Our father was parts, mgr and salesman for a small dealership in Warsaw,Il so growing up in the 60's , we were very aware of what was going on at Gibbs. My dad knew most of the people that worked there, including Fred and his parts manager. We rode up to Gibbs a few days after those 1st copo Camaros were delivered in december 1968.They were awesome! My brother was friends with Fred's widow,Helen and attended some of her car shows and also brought his car back to Bergers for 1 or 2 of their shows.
Anyone having any info would really be appreciated!
Tim
