You could get a Trans Am WS6 from 96 on.

You could only get the Formula WS6 thru 2000, the T/A WS6 up till 2002.
You could get a Formula Firehawk thru 2002, but very low production numbers on those.

I thought I would add you could only get Formula WS6s in Canada thru 99. I have no idea why. The only differences were the speedo and the daytime running lights, that I am aware of.

I just made a deal to buy back a car that I sold in '06 to my sister for her son to drive to college.

I ordered it in 2000 to be a modern (in 2000) LX mustang coupe, light car w/ big motor. It's a ws6 Formula, m6, coupe, White, black cloth, hardtop, pw,pdl, a/c, and cd player. Thats it. It was the lightest I could get and still live with it everyday. Back in '01 with an airbox lid as the only mod it went a 13.21 @ 106 on a hot night at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Tx.

It now has 110,000 miles on it and still bone stock. He drove from Austin to school in Waco for 4 years. I would love to restore it back to new condition, it's not far from there now. But I think a ls3 might be in the cards for it this spring.

Also if there is anyone in the DFW area with a red '00 optioned exactly like mine you can thank me for it. I originally ordered red and changed my mind a week later to white. The dealer, R.O. Evans, just ordered another one (mine) and they both came in on the same truck.

You should check your phone record, I had the money in my hand that next thursday LIKE I TOLD YOU, but instead you didnt pick up the next FIVE phone calls I made. dude your so full of ****, you never had a cent, wasted my time trying to get me to consign the car to a dealership so you could get a loan, won the eBay auction despite you didnt have a cent, the auction terms called for a deposit from paypal within 48 hours which I did not recieve nor did you ever call or respond to a single email for a week after the auction, you wanted to stall me for weeks until you came up with cash.......I could care less who bought it and NEVER expressed displeasure over the sale price, it was MY reserve!
In fact I sold it to the first guy with real money for LESS than the auction price!
I never said I needed a "family vehicle" I needed a DD which I bought with the money from the Firebird, I bought the Vette with proceeds from a real estate transaction I had pending, and I dont even have a kid (nor does my wife) !! lol your such a bullshitter! my point was seller beware because this kid has a million stories and zero dollars!

Just bought 99 ws6 formula 72000 miles. Wrecked when it had 20 miles on it. Explains the trans am nose. 1965 GTO parked next to it.

Nice. Only 79 Black '99 Formula WS6 Coupes built, 49 w/ M6, 30 w/ A4. Only 16 of the total 62 A4 '99 WS6 Formulas were HTs (not sure what the color breakdown is, check w/ CompNine.com).

Doesn't looks like the hood is factory though. Or are the shiny reflections deceiving my eyes?

One of 233 built in 2000. I'm the first owner and ordered it with Hurst M6, leather, TCS, T-Tops. I love the car and that it lacks all the Trans Am added body parts.

CompNine is showing only 180 Red '00 Formulas being built, 36 of those were WS6s, 23 w/ M6 and 13 w/ A4.
