Dick Harrell on Ebay
I saw this car in Canton, Ga. at a car show and was kinda shocked to see that it was a Dick Harrell knowing that the DH cars had the widebody. I wonder if the owner of the the other #12 DH was aware of what Matt was doing.

Those cars started as the GM High Tech Performance Edition but do to some issues became the Dick Harrell 35th Edition. Not all of the cars were wide-bodies though. The cost to make them a wide-body was A LOT more. I think only 2-3 were done that way and I believe a few were convertibles. In my opinion, I don't think these 15 will effect the values of the 30 original DH cars. Hope this helps.

So that explains where the numbers come from, I remember when he was doing the GMHT cars I was wanting to send my LE to him to get it done but I guess he couldn't get the magazine to agree to the deal. But why do a whole new set of Dick Harrell's? It doesn't seem like the right thing to do.

?? I thought all Dick Harrell cars were wide-bodied 630hp 02 Camaros with a 12 bolt and a cage?
There were definitely more than 2 or 3 made, this pic shows 4 plus there are other ones I have seen elsewhere on the net. I thought there were 32 made like this.
I wouldn't buy a Dick Harrell car without the widebody and 630 hp engine package.

Hey Guys,
Wake00 is right. The cars started out as GM HighTech Magazine cars, but Magazine couldn't commit or come to an agreement. They made these cars instead and They are a 400hp 35th anniversary edition with a Tribute to Dick Harrell. So its not a full blown DH edition, and shouldn't be as expensive, but still pretty rare. Especially since it is the last set of the 02 cars they did. I talked to the guy with the car on ebay. Seemed nice and sounds like the car is quite impressive. Car sure is clean underneath! It will be interesting to see what it does.

All of the original DH cars were wide-bodys. However, they were not all 427ci cars with roll cages, etc. I believe they started life as LS6 (Z06) 400hp. From there, they could have been upgraded. An example, is the green DH Berger Chevy still has for sale. It's a 400hp automatic.

Anyway, I think the DHPE cars are neat because you can get a wide-body convertible which couldn't have been done on the original cars. Just my opinion.

If this is #12 of 15, I want to see the other 14 of them, because this is the first I have heard or seen of this. Post some pics or scans of GMHTP and show us the others if you can.

Here's the Dick Harrell 35th Edition, car #4, (which is what the package became instead of the GMHTP edition).
