On my 01 SS I had blue springs when I bought it. I was curious if these are the stock SS springs or maybe aftermarket ? My buddy has a 00 Z28 with black springs and we were wondering if we put my springs on his car if it would lower it at all ? Is there a couple springs that could have come on the 01 SS, maybe one being considered stock and one being optional. We called SLP and they ran my vin and said it had no SLP options but yet I have blue springs so I just want to know if they all came blue or what ? There is no name that I could see on the blue springs that I could see so help me out here guys. Thanks!

Ok so know we know I had aftermarket springs. What are aftermarket springs that are blue ? I was thinking Hotchkis springs so tell me what else or if you guys thought something else also. I could post a pic of them tomorrow to help out. As far as I can tell they don't have a name on them so I'm lost..

You're correct, but what you are implying is wrong.
No, absolutely not correct. If you opted for the SLP upgraded suspension, you got BLUE Eibach lowering springs and yellow Bilstiens valved specifically for these BLUE springs
You're correct, but what you are implying is wrong.
No his car came with this package when new or someone added it later in its life, or SLP's records are wrong.
SLP springs were blue![Thinker](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies2/thinker.gif)
Congratulations, your car should handle way better then a stock Z with Decarbons.
Foolish.......

Look in your door jamb for an SLP content sticker. If it says Bilstein suspension (which it looks like it should), you unfortunately wasted money/time installing damn near the same springs back on the car.
96-00 SS with Bilstein package used black Eibachs
01-02 SS with Bilstein package used blue Eibachs
