2010 Tribute Firehawk!!
#41
Well - I for one LOVE the Kevin Morgan Trans AM and Firehawk reproductions as a 5th generation version.
I only wish I had the cashflow to afford the car, but non the less, I have the promo pictures as my desktop as I work and save my cash for my next sports car.

The 2nd gen. 70's-80's hoodscoop styling gives it a Smokey & the Bandit look NOT a Firehawk. Besides I don't think SLP- Firehawk was in business until the 3rd gen f-body debut.
I prefer the Lingenfelter T/A more but I'd probably rock this one too with some subtle changes. The first change would be to remove all the Firehawk badging cause its styling should themed as a tribute to the Bandit cars.

I second that on the Mike Lavallee airbrushed 'bird on the hood Love it! but to call it a Firehawk, were are the heat extractors, the scoop on the hood 70's the wheels (late 70's snowflakes), the front end also last 70's the hawk started life as a 3rd Gen and advanced to 4th Gen this is a retro '67 Camaro... Now I like Lingenfelter tribute of the '70-73 but less the hood bird put Mike Lavallee airbrushed 'bird on the hood that would be

I dunno. Maybe it's just me but I would have prefered to see a "tribute" Firehawk in red. .. The advertisements I remember featured them in that color. So for some weird reason, I like Hawks in red more.
P.S. The bird on the hood just screams "Bandit"! Which coincidentally says SD T/A to me. NOT Firehawk!

I guess what I'm saying is the "words" "SD-455" and "Bandit" just don't belong together.

No disrespect here but the hood bird did show first on the 1973 to continue on later TA models, some sporting the SD-Super Duty 455 engine option (1973-1974, 1296 total cars, 1195 TA's and 101 Formula models) additionally the T/A SD-455's were optionally surrounded by the infamous hood bird if only opted, although the 1977 Bandit TA did have a hood bird, I believe introduced in 1977 (not to be confused with the 1976 LE 50th Anniversary TA) but never offered a SD-455 opted engine.
