F1 Camaro
Does anyone have pics or own one? I just saw this in an old Super Chevy mag and was wondering if there was still any around, I've never seen one in person.

Yep seen them in person. Was a dealer installed package from GM Performance Parts Division.
Some pics I found here: http://rides.webshots.com/album/47423318LwkUks

GM put out a 1 page brochure detailing the different stuff available. It can be found on ebay every now and then. Some parts that they offered were:
1. stripes
2. ground effect kit that later became the sport appearance package on V6s
3. ZR1 wheels with F1 logo center caps
4. SLP (labelled GMPP) cold air intake
5. SLP TOTL exhaust (labelled GMPP)
6. F1 GMPP floor mats (used same company that made the SS & hawk mats for SLP)
7. F1 fender emblems in the same script as the Z28 badges
It was sort of a 1995 only thing to compete with the Firehawk and Comp TA as once the SS came out in 1996 GM put all focus on the SS.

Interesting, ive seen a couple of those but never knew they were some kind of special edition, i figured they were an aftermarket performance package like a mecham or just somebody was putting kits and stickers on them. Neat.

There are 2 F-1 Camaros in my car club. They are pretty unique.
One of them is for sale. If anyone is interested just PM me.
It is A 1996 Cayenne Red Metallic A4 Convertible with Black Stripes. All stock except for headers. Under 5000k miles and I believe he wanted $12,000
Personally, I think he should keep it because you don't see the F-1 Camaros that often.
