Will the SS options impact mod plans at all?
98 Camaro SS A4
Using one of the stickies I did my best to decipher the codes. My questions are,
1.) What exactly are the "suspension system, special ride and handling" and the "performance exhaust" upgrades?
2.) Are any of the unidentified codes in my below list anything noteworthy?
3.) Will any of the SS performance options impact my standard plan of upgrades lid>long tube headers>cat back>catted pipe>stall>3.73s>cam/heads with some minor suspension things sprinkled in there such as sub-frame connectors? Aka can I skip any of the upgrades because of stock options?
Unknown:
What is B84, CAE, IP2, NB6, PBT, R62, R7A, R9U, STE, U62, VG6, VG8, V73, WU8, YA7, YF5, 1AY, 1SH, 1SZ, 41Q, , 52I, 6ZM, 7ZM, 8Tj, 9TJ
Known/possibly noteworthy:
GU5 - Axle Ratio 3.23, Rear
FE4 - Suspension System, Special Ride and Handling
N73 - Wheel, Custom Sport Var4 17"
QFK - Tire, All P275/40R17-93W BW HW4
Y2Y - Exhaust Upgrade Option Code for SS Camaro (Dual-Dual system)
56T – Neutral top
41U – black convertible
522 – Neutral leather
Thank you for your help!

To answer question # 3 no, none of your SS options should effect your mods. You would gain more power if you switched from your stock cat-back to a aftermarket one like borla or loudmouth. If you like the sound of it and don't want your car too loud you can get longtubes and a mid pipe, keep the stock cat-back and see how you like it. I wouldn't skip the sub-frame connectors. They keep your car going straight so you don't end up in a ditch. But like i said none of your SS performance options should keep you from modding.
