How much for '99 Firehawk?

I am looking at a 1999 Firehawk. It has 68,000 miles. Black with grey leather and a six speed. In the Colorado area. What should I pay for it. The guy wants $16500 or best offer. Should I offer $15,500? He is the original owner and the only mods are an aftermarket mass air and K&N filter.

Sounds about right (maybe a touch on the low side), does it have any SLP options? Could be a little low or a little high depending on the condition/options.

Well, I got a REALLY good deal on mine. It is a 99 NBM with only 29,500 miles on it; two owner. I drove 500 miles for it and I only paid 16,800. I have seen firehawks (99's) on ebay with really low miles (like 20K) for 18K or so; if you offer 15,500, I would think that might be ok but it has really high mileage (well in my opinion it would be high to spend that much money on). See how low he can go-sounds like limbo. If you have to travel a great deal, use that as an excuse to try and get him to lower the price. I would find something with lower miles if I could.

this might **** sumeone off, but I just bought a 99 convertible hawk 6 speed with 35k miles for the low price of 13k .

People that don't know anything about these cars make me mad. Some people do not understand the significance of them or the true value of them. I keep obsessing over mind and no one around here understands that in later years I can make money on it and they will go up in value. IF I keep it long enough. My next car I want to buy is a vette but i really like the hawk!
