I was offered... A guy I work with is selling his 2000 Camaro SS for 5K. 88k on the clock, the only this it needs a new 6spd trans in it. He has full exhaust headers,off road y-pipe back to a SLP loudmouth. He asked me if I want to buy it, I was like I already have one. It would be cool to have 2 of them!

Is the old transmission rebuildable?
Sounds like a decent deal if the rest of the car is in good shape, depending on how cheap you can get a replacement transmission. Maybe he'll give you a better price because you're friends...
