what do you guys believe this car is worth. i have not the slightest clue on value of firehawks.
i offered the guy 12k cash. and he said he has to think about it because its less then what he was wanting. and another guy is coming to have a look-see in a few days and he is going to see what he is going to offer.
just wondering what the car is actually worth. in its current condition.
and do you guys know the specs of the car. rated hp and tq and such. thanks.!

Specs: 0-60 in just over 5 sec (depending on your source)....327 HP, 345/torque? Look at firehawk.org and you will get every single one of your answers. About the value, I bought a 99 TA Hawk about 4 months ago for 17K plus I had to pay my taxes when I got home. It only had 30K on it and it is loaded with almost everything except Auburn I think. 12K might be about right. IF not, give a little more like 13-14? Just my .02.

I think their asking price is a fair price for a Firehawk with almost 60K miles on it. I believe that car was listed on eBay too and didn't sell due to his reserve not being met. If you're looking for a Firehawk, like Littlebef15 suggested, visit firehawk.org...you'll find lots of useful information over there.
Have you seen the car/driven the car yet?
When I started my search, I found a 2001 Trans Am on eBay at a local car dealer...on eBay it looked great but once I drove it, that changed my whole perspective (had NO acceleration).
As far as value, you might want to go to kbb.com or nada.com and see what they say the car is worth...

I payed about 23K for my Firehawk. But then again mines a 2002 with 18K miles and is still under warranty and is in near perfect condition.
Condition, year, options and ultimatley what you are willing to pay and what the seller is willing to let it go for are the main things that will determine it's actual value.

One more thing I forgot to add earlier was that don't just go to firehawk.org to check out specs. I would recommend buying a hawk off of one of the members as well. They will give you a great deal and usually the people on there take really good care of their cars. Wouldn't trust anyone else.

hm. well nadaguides wont let me put in how many miles the car has for some reason when i pick firehawk. and it says value is around 20k.
and kbb doesnt have a firehawk option so doing the formula ws6, it is almost 12k
i offered him 12 cash. because that is all i could do. now i can do maybe 12.2 not much more but i think i just sold my xbox and games for 200.
but he told me he will do 13.5 and meet me half way.
the car is in florida so i havent seen it in person.
the car was inspected rather recent from a guy who was going to buy but his funds didnt come through.
it will need four new tires and a new power steering pump soon.
i would offer more. but my last day of work is tomorrow because i am quitting to help run/open my moms resturant so i wont be getting any paychecks for a little while. unless i get hired as a paper deliever guy for a 2nd job so i can afford something more.
im not quite sure what to do.
after tonight though. i need an ls1. anything but a z28. for some reason.
but tonight. some guy with a v6 stang. with a few mods. really thought he could take the 99 ss from a twenty roll. he lost twenty dollars that race. it was quite humorous. the ss is stock except for a muffler. and after the guy got beat. he said there is no way that car is stock. we popped the hood. and he said. oh that dont matter. i dont know if you changed things internally. ******* idiot. but hearing that ss fly by me at around 100 mph was grand. ahhh.

The color combo is not rare, it was the most popular. I looked at that car before buying mine, I didn't get the warm and fuzzy about it, he was wanting 17K then. The car had been driven by the guys 17 y.o. son, so I felt a lil uncomfortable about that. I offered him 15.5 K then, he turned me down, oh well I gave someone else almost double for the one I got.
And check www.firehawk.org they will prob be one of the best to go to, there was a guy about 2 weeks ago who has a dealership with a very nice (from the pics) hawk...look around...don't settle. But if you don't have a lot to spend, stick with the 99's- the price kinda skyrocketed for 00-02's.
