I agree. Living in Michigan, got to be someone close to you that has a 2002 ZL1 (i.e., for example, Gib & Tammy Louden). Call Berger Chevy and see if they know of someone close to you that has a ZL1 that you could listen to.
Mine is a Phase II.......so I have the long tube headers, cam and the LS6 engine. I also have an exhaust cut-out on mine too.
I suppose if I were to tell you that I have only had the radio on three times since I have owned it, would that tell you that the sound of the engine through the exhaust is oh so sweet?

in the case you are still wondering...heads and cam do not sound bad with this exhaust...you just needa look around for the cam that causes the least amount of rast in ALL different types of exhaust setups...
something thats said to be streetable...with around a +.550/+.550 lift and a 114 LSA...with a duration around 220/220? thats jsut me...i like the G1 cam from MTI soundws damn good through duals...but has great sound either way..
for headers...im Biased but QTP (kooks are slightly cheaper)
