have located a firehawk in southern IN and am going tomorrow to look at/buy. but from what the dealership has told me they cant find any kind of production number for the hawk. its an obvious hawk to me by looking at the pictures with hood and engine bay and graphics and deck mat, but are there any other ways to identify the production number with the vin? I"ve heard about calling slp, doesn anyone have the number for that? if anyone could let me know that would be great, its already a steal at this time of year but i just want to make sure im not buying some copycat. thanks. by the way its an 01 black, auto, tan interior with t-tops. thats about it for details from the pictures

Yes, FAOA, Firehawk Assn of America can obtain and verify authenticity IF you have the VIN
An '01 model should be easy to verify......or you can PM me, and I can post on the FAOA boards if you like.

Also...look on doors for a sticker from SLP. On my 02 it's on the passenger door...but I'd check the driver's door too just to be safe. It will list what options came with the car that SLP installed.

Yes, WU6 unless one of those bastard, last minute transitioning cars......but 99% have to have the WU6 option, which identifies the vehicle for SS or Firehawk SLP upgrades.
