i have a 1996 camaro ss, and my plaque that says SS, and the build number got ruined by having somthing spilled on it, the black cover like material peeled off.it is made out of the same stuff the ls1 camaro SS plaques are made out of.any suggestions on how to fix it?has this happed to anyone?thanks...

I really not one to write not helpful information but I remember seeing plaques that you can buy from one of the sponsers. You can also have them custom print your hp numbers and type of engine written on it. Im sure you could find something under the search. Hope that helps.....

I ran across some custom dash plaques while window shopping at Afterthoughts Auto . Might not be an exact match but they still look pretty god to me!
