Listed as "1999 PONTIAC TRANS AM WS-6 RAM AIR PKG "

but WS-6's weren't even made in this color. Wrong wheels, etc. Definitely not a WS-6, but it's listed as one. That HAS to be false advertising. Somebody with an e-bay account should notify ebay.

Then they go on to say this in their auction. They try to hide it within the details.

"We here at Texastoys have done the Ram Air conversion with Chrome wheels, emblems, and better than factory real functinal Ram air cold induction, 20-25Hp over factory installed ram air."

I'm sorry, but there is no such thing as a WS6 conversion. It's not physically possible. It doesn't matter what they put on the car it still won't be a WS6 and shouldn't be listed as one. How is it that this place has such good feedback?? That's ridiculous.

Funny, thats the one i wanted . . .

Why does ebay keep allowing them to list vehicles? It seems this site keeps finding flaws in their listings. Ebay should do something about their ahem habitual deceptful listings.

It's yet another of their "has some title challenges" cars, i.e. bad wreck or theft-recovery.

I'm not totally sure whether all SS cars had leather or not, but if they did all originally have it and if this is an SS, I wouldn't be surprised if this one had the original seats removed (damaged or stolen), and they were replaced with the cheapest option available (cloth seats) in typical TexasToys fashion.

im not sure about the hard top thing but i now that not all SS camaros came with leather seats, some had cloth, i remember seeing them at the dealers, and i even asked about it before. I sadly didnt end up buying it.

lol...I used to sell cars. Normally it's managers that arwe crooked and the salesman is just a go-between for them to do their dirty work. It was a job though...around cars at that, that's the only reason I did it. So the next time you go to car dealer...don't take it out on your salesman...go see who he keeps going to talk to...the manager, he's the one thats as crooked as the day is long normally. I have seen very very few exceptions though...there are always those.

I've got a 9000 read thread over in the Texas section of the forums on this car lot. (link in sig) I bought an '02 T/A from them and to sum it all up we are going through some major difficulties. It looks like they are about to get sued.

Myself and many other members have emailed them about their cars but they keep on pulling the same ole ****. Ebay is absolutely no help and will not listen to the complaints. My new goal is to make them lose as many customers as possible.

There are numerous reposts on all kinds of message boards all over the place. I am getting the word around. I have filed complaints with the Texas Dept. of Transportation, Better Business Bureau, Attorney General and the Federal Trade Commission (deceptive trade practices - bait and switch). I still have not heard a response from them.

If you have some time you can read the 200 post thread. Its very entertaining.

Oh, and they are ULTRA SENSITIVE right now due to the flood of calls and emails they've gotten.

Sory to hear about your case with them. If there's any way i can help let me know...I am not too far away from you guys down there in texas. 870-413-9304 is my cell #.

Byron

I did work at a car lot and here in Arkansas the laws may be different, I'll look them up when I get time to see what the laws are down there and if they are the same.

Thanks for your support...In this case everyone at this "dealership" are in on the scam with the exception of one salesman (they only have two) who has encouraged me to seek legal advice.

If ya'll dont mind please post a link to the thread on any other sites you happen to be a member of.

Thanks!

I've never seen one, not to mention a 35th w/o leather. Somethings fishy there. Maybe it's a flood recovery.
