Default What is a 1996 Camaro SS worth?

The car is completely stock. 11,000 miles. 1 owner. All paper work saved. (original window stickers; GM & SLP, all reciepts to work, and maintenence.
There are even pictures of it on the transport in the binder.

The car is number 2109. Red t-top, 6-speed, black leather. Tires are real good yet. I really was looking for an LS1 car, but this one is available to me, and for some reason i cannot stop thinking about it. any insight guys would be great! Thanks!

ha its worth more than that. could you get what its worth though is the question. in all honesty if it was my car and it was as nice as the specs on paper sound id have it listed for 12 or 13k at least. no joke i feel its worth that and if you were to drop that type of money on it i think it would be fair. youve got to decide what your wanting to do with it and how much your willing to spend. your dealing with a collector car with that many miles on it. if you dont treat it as such you will be spending too much money.

Exactly, and this car is probably mint...so chopping it up to be a race car would be a waste of money IMHO. I'm not saying that a H/C swap and bolt ons are not a good idea, but if you want to build a nasty stroker motor with huge heads and a solid roller cam, spray, etc then buy a high mileage lt1 and go from there. Putting a cage, gutting the interior and scrapping most of the car isn't worth it money wise.

Well said! That was the first year of the 4th gen SS and the year with the smallest number produced. Definately a future collectible.
