Default Factory Dual/Dual diameter?

I recently picked up my SS with the SLP dual/dual option. Is the diameter of the I-pipe on the SLP dual/dual exhaust 3"? The reason I ask is because on my door it says "rear section". I just bought headers and ORY and I want to use the I-pipe and muffler if possible, but only if it is indeed 3".

And I searched already.

The literature says 3" - I think where the i- pipe meets the y- pipe it's 2.5. I know the Hooker Y pipe is 3" and it's definatley larger than the opening of the DD i-pipe, but the tubing expands after the hook-up.

Hope this helps a bit...

So I guess it won't be a direct fit for Pacesetter's ORY? I'll have to make some sort of conector?

The Pacesetter will fit the DD or a base T/A I-pipe opening. Same diameter.
