I agree, no 4th gens are worth anything right now..It will take a long time & who knows what is going to happen..The car can be in an accident, vandalized, blown up, who knows..I guess I get a little irritated when I see the post"Is My Car Rare"? NO IT's NOT...If you still have the car & this message board is still alive, Post on here in maybe 30years & then we can answer the question..to me, rare means $$$$

Default Formula WS6

The reason Formula WS6s look so much better than a trans-am WS6 is because of the small wing and lack-of ground effects. the small spoiler makes the hood scoops look bigger and ground effects wreck the lines of the car. i wouldnt have bought a trans-am WS6, it had to be a Formula, thats why i ordered mine before it was built. its my rare car and thats all that matters.

Love the 98-00 WS6 Formulas and the Hardtops. Unfortunately neither option was available when I ordered my Formula in July of 01. Have taken care of a few performance mods, and now the time is right for a stock Firehawk hood which should be on the car within a month.

To answer the question at hand, I say most definitely yes, a WS6 Formula is a rare bird indeed. With regard to 4th gens, that car and the Firehawk Formula are my personal favorites.

I have a 2000 formula that is a factory WS6 car. Ram Air with the hurst 6 speed package. The inside door sticker shows that it has the WS6 package along with all the other options. But one thing that I don't know what all of you are talking about is when you say it's a M6 car. What does this mean? I don't know anything about this, could someone help me out here?

my 98 ws6 formula firebird, M6 T-tops, Red-orange is rare. there were only 44 made in Red-orange and i dont know how many made with that color, t-tops, M6, and the WS6 package. and its not from a lack of trying to find out. i believe i'm going to right a letter to GM archives with my cars serial number find out all the specifics.

Formulas WS6's are much more rare than Trans Am WS6's. Of the last generation 1993-2002 mine is a bright red 6-speed and number #188 of the last generation. I forget the numbers, but their were like 3 to 1 more Trans am WS6's made than Formulas.
