30th TA question

Why was it considered the 30th anniversary car when it was really the 32 year of production for the firebird?

Because it was the 30th ann of Trans Am. T/As didn't hit the scene till '69.

a better question is why is 1990 Mustang a 25th ann'y car and 1999 is a 35th when the Stang came out in 64 1/2?

All of the t/a anniversary cars are like that 79-10th, 84-15th, 89-20th, 94-25th, 99-30th
