is this a ridiculous price for a CETA?

Just another Firebird with a ugly non-fuctional hood......no big deal
However, I do like the Daytona Yellow on the rest of the car! Get a smooth hood and paint it Daytona Yellow - Then you'll have a nice car.

Don't mind him Mark....he is obviously on some strong medication. ahhaha
I would say that the price you found it for at a dealership is about right...easily worked down in price another 3-4k and I think you would have a good deal. Only ones with less than 1k miles should even come close to 30k.
I love my CETA and it is the best purchase I have ever made! No matter where you go in a CE you get all the attention. Let me quote one of our newer members to the CE family who traded his Firehawk in for a CETA:

None of them had a clue about it and had tons of questions. The CETA is the best car I have ever owned. My firehawk and vette vert never even got a second glance.

The 99's were white and you could buy a white one and put a 99 anniversary stripe kit on it, and paint the wheels blue, and it would be hard to tell driving down the road. But no one can do that with a ceta unless they paint the whole car yellow.
So yes,,the head rests, stickers, black wheels , can all be duplicated, but the yellow is a 2002 CETA. Just mho, oh yeah, might be somewhat biased since I sold my "average" firehawk for a ceta vert

Also, the CETA is not a TRUE Anniversary Edition. It is a Special Edition Trans Am monikerd, Collector Edition. Since it isn't an Anniversary Edition Trans Am there was no need to stick to the White/Blue scheme that had been so common to the anny ed. Since Yellow was a popular color for the time, Pontiac pulled one from the previous years of 4th gens.

I'll have to pass on the cam, hahaha
I actually purchased my first performance mod, a hi-flo lid and K&N filter. Next on my list is a smooth bellows and ported MAF ends. I'm also considering ceramic headers and a catback exhaust...but that is something I'll have to research some more.
