Is this a good price for a Hawk

Some people feel more intelligent when they criticize.
That sounds like a reasonable price if it is in very good condition. I just paid $16500 for a 2001 with 56000 miles, and feel I got a good deal. And with a Firehawk, since they are so rare, it`s really hard to nail down a precise value on these cars.

They didn't pay hardly anymore than any plain old T/A with a ram air package. The guy that traded it didn't put up too much of a fight becasue he traded the ****** in to a DEALERSHIP instead of selling it for a bit more privately.
I bought my 2002 Firehawk one year old for 18k!!! I worked at a dealership and we gave the previous douche owner 17.5K on trade in. He traded it on a Mitsubishi Endeavor SUV.
I was driving out of the dealership in his car in front of him before his own suv was even out of the wash lot!

I agree for the most part, but you might want to feel it out. When I was trying to sell my `94 back in 2000, I was shopping it around at several different dealerships. Most were offering me what a Trans Am was worth in that year with those miles (around $12,000 if I remember correctly). But there was one that knew what it was, and gave value for all the receipts I had (I had about $8,000 in mods). He offered me $19,000 for it on on a straight sale! I am sure he wouldnt have budged much on a resale. This was at a Chevrolet dealer.
I ended up selling it privately for $21,500 if memory serves me.
