F1 camaro -i have a 1995 f1 camaro has any1 heard of this before and does any 1 know how many of these were made......?

It wasn't a factory option, just a dealer add on package. Fairly rare around me. I've seen maybe 3. One was a 97 30th anniversary Z with the F1 package a girl I used to work with and her husband bought. Nice car...wish I knew where it was today.

any 1 have anyother onfo on these i was told there was an article in a mag about them? does any 1 have a pic of 1 ill try and get a couple pics of mine when i get it back from the body shop(new paint =-)

aslo what is this and what does it do? (im not really a mechanic or know a whole lot about cars, just enough to get around......)

Larger front swaybar and hardware. I'm assuming the track bar is also what is known as the panhard bar in the rear. Goes from one side of the axle to the frame on the other to keep it from moving side to side. I haven't seen any mags with pics but then again I wasn't as into Camaros back when the F1 kit was out as I am now.

An F1 Camaro can be a number of things from just a badge and stripe job to a full on appearance and suspension package. All of it it either installed by a dealership or the owner themselves. It is NOT a limited or numbered special edition. Don't call SLP as they had nothing to do with them and will have know idea what you're talking about. It was Just a "package" of items that you can buy 1 or all of for your Camaro. This was before the SS came out. In 95 GM was kinda 1/2 *** feeling out a Camaro tuner car with this. The one you saw advertised all the time and even on a 1 page brochure, was a sivler 95 with the RS ground effects kit, which was originally the F1 kit, black stripes, ZR1 wheels with F1 center caps, the RS 3 piece spoiler, and some of the 1LE parts like sway bars, LCAs, bushings etc. Thats it. Look on eBay for the brochure that lists all of the available parts with part #'s through GM Performance Parts.
